KENMERI CREATIVE IS PETER AND TARYN KELLY, TWO AUTOMOTIVE JOURNALISTS WITH OVER A DECADE OF EXPERIENCE IN ALL FACETS OF THE INDUSTRY.

OUR STORY

Following Peter’s six-year stint as Editor of New Zealand's biggest automotive magazine, NZ Performance Car, Taryn and Peter left New Zealand in 2014 and began working for Speedhunters.com (Electronic Arts), traveling abroad with little more than a suitcase and camera bag in tow, documenting unexplored pockets of car culture around the globe. This was followed by a two-year residency in Hong Kong working for the esteemed Blackbird Automotive Group (Blackbird Automotive Journal, Ferrari Hong Kong), and more recently, a whirlwind stay in London working on the media team for autonomous racing series Roborace.

Previous to these roles, Peter also worked in print media, television and film as a freelance writer, researcher and presenter both nationally and internationally. Following a career start in photography, marketing and event planning, Taryn has also made a name for herself as a well-known online personality, gaining global recognition for her popular blog content and magazine columns documenting various project car builds and automotive events around the world.

Forget all that knowledge and experience for a moment, and the most important qualification backing the brains behind Kenmeri Creative is their status as genuine car enthusiasts. Both Peter and Taryn have multiple notable builds to their credit and have spent time behind the wheel on some of the world's most iconic roads and race circuits. It's this true enthusiasm for the industry, this complete immersion for the pure joy of it all, that sets Kenmeri Creative and the services it provides, above all others.

Taryn and Peter returned home to New Zealand in 2019, relocating to sunny Tauranga where they live with their young daughter and their dream car, a restored and modified 1979 Datsun 280Z.
