“RENDERCHOP”
INFLUENCER CAMPAIGN
This social media campaign involved recruiting three well-respected automotive artists and concept designers to each create their own hyper-futuristic interpretations of Robocar, an autonomous race car created by UK-based tech company Roborace.
The high-level objective was to inspire online audiences to contemplate the future of racing by creating, sharing, and generating discussion about these hyper-imaginative digital concept cars on social media.
STRATEGY OVERVIEW
• Artists announced their participation in the campaign and were invited to be open with their thought processes by sharing ‘work-in-progress’ content, in the form of initial sketches or drawings, time-lapse videos, teaser pics, etc.
• Each artist separately unveiled their concept art on their own social channels, sharing multiple post formats and stories, with Roborace amplifying these posts.
• Captions encouraged creative, open discussions within social audiences about Roborace and the future of autonomous racing.
• A contest element was also included, with comment-based entry.
• Campaign success was measured based on Engagement, Participation, and Sentiment.
